继一系列入学教育活动之后，11月的第一周项目组邀请了西北工业大学自动化学院的何鹏举教授为2022级软件工程（中外合作办学）专业学生作了“计算机系统及软件发展”的专题讲座，即计算机科学之专业发展和前沿技术。何教授主要研究方向为工业物联网、数字孪生，其有着深厚的理论基础与丰富的实践经验，从科学计算与和信息处理原理、计算机与软件发展的历史及技术前沿等方面阐述了本专业发展历史、当前现状、新技术发展趋势等学生深刻关切的问题，为学生们答疑解惑，拓展新知。

After a series of freshman orientation activities, the EU-MTSU Joint Program invited professor He Pengju to make a speech on “The Development of Computer System and Software” - “The Development and Cutting-edge Technologies of Computer Science” in the first week of November, who is a doctoral supervisor of the School of Automation in NORTHWESTERN POLYTECHNICAL UNIVERSITY and researches on IIoT and Digital Twin. With a solid theoretical foundation and rich practical experience, he elaborated lots of students concerns from the principle of scientific computation and information process, the history of computer and software, and advanced technologies, such as the history and tendency of development and current status, answering their questions and enriching knowledge.
