At 19:00 on November 28, 2024, the "Joint Growth" opening ceremony of the Sino-US Cooperation Program of the School of Information Engineering was held in the lobby of the West Building. This opening ceremony marks an important step in the promotion of Eurasia’s "local internationalization" and provides a broader learning and development platform for students.

At the beginning of the event, Qiao Zhihang, a student from class 2203, sang Love Yourself and Old Town Road, which instantly warmed up the atmosphere and won the cheers of teachers and students with his affectionate interpretation and dynamic rhythm.

Afterwards, the ceremony was officially opened. In the speech, Mrs Xu Yimei, associate dean of the School of Information Engineering, emphasized the important role of the Sino-US Cooperation Programme in broadening the academic field and improving the teaching quality, and expressed her earnest expectations for the students, hoping that they could cherish this valuable learning opportunity and strive to improve themselves. Mr Hu Hongfei, team leader of the Sino-US Cooperation Programme, introduced the specific contents and features of the program, as well as the high-quality educational resources and rich learning opportunities. At the same time, students were encouraged to challenge themselves, actively participate in international exchanges and cooperation, and continuously improve their international competitiveness.

文艺表演

活动现场安排了丰富多彩的文艺表演。吉他社的同学们带来了动听的乐器演奏—《山海》，大学生艺术团的同学则为大家献上了悠扬的小提琴独奏—《天空之城》。此外，统本软件2403（中外）班的田雨腾同学还为大家带来了拉丁舞《暮色回响》，统本软件2402班的岳泓宇和郭万濠同学带来了吉他弹唱《花田错》和《故乡》，赢得了在场观众的阵阵掌声。

A variety of performances were arranged at this event. Students from the Guitar Club showed the melodious instrumental performance, while students from the Student Art Troupe presented the violin solo. In addition, Tian Yuteng (class 2403) also danced a Latin, and Yue Hongyu and Guo Wanhao (class 2402) played guitar and sang a song, which won the applause of the audience.

At the end of the event, leaders of the school awarded certificates to the students who have performed well in the Sino-US Cooperation Programme and won excellent results in national and provincial academic competitions for many times. They are Zhang Lindi (2201), Han Linfeng (2202), Zhang Yating (2203), Chen Jirui (2203), Lin Shengxin (2203) , and Xu Shuang (2302). This is not only an affirmation and encouragement for the students' hard work, but also a strong proof of the teaching quality of this major.
